Review Panel Terms of Reference as of 1 December 2025
The introduction of the Community Group Home Pricing Model on 1 December brings several important updates to the Review Panel Terms of Reference.
Key updates include:
- The threshold for referral to the Review Panel has increased to $112,000 (from $105,000) for both residential and community packages.
- When assessing whether a residential package meets the referral threshold, the portion of costs paid by the client (the Client Contribution) is excluded. If the Client Contribution is not yet known, standard deductions can be made.
- High-cost community packages now follow the same funding rules as residential packages when people move between NASC and EGL sites.
